Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026. The German version is binding.
This policy covers the website budget360.ch and the Budget 360 app (app.budget360.ch and the iPhone and Android apps). It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This website
The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and loads nothing from third parties. Fonts and images are served from our own server. When you visit, the web server records technically necessary details such as IP address, time and page in log files. These are used only to run the site securely and are deleted after a short time. The website is hosted by Hostpoint AG in Switzerland. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, Inc., which protects the site and delivers it faster.
The app: what data we process
- Account: email address, name, password (stored only in hashed form), language and your settings.
- Bills: what you enter, such as payee, amount, due date, category, notes, payment records and income.
- Documents: PDFs and photos you upload, scan or send to your tobudget.ch address. We read the Swiss QR code in them to fill in the bill.
- Emails to tobudget.ch: sender, subject and attachments of messages you send or forward to your personal address.
We process this data only to provide Budget 360 to you. We do not sell data, show no advertising and use no tracking in the app.
Service providers
- App servers: your account, bills and documents are stored on our hosting provider's servers.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: receives emails sent to tobudget.ch and passes them straight to our server without storing them. Cloudflare also protects the website.
- Hostpoint AG, Switzerland: sends our emails, such as due-day reminders and password reset links.
- Apple and Google: distribute the apps. Phone reminders are scheduled on your device itself. We send no data to Apple or Google for them.
Some providers are based in the United States. Where data may reach them, we rely on safeguards recognised by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, such as the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. On request we delete your account with all bills and documents. Write to hello@alpio.ch. Statutory retention duties remain reserved.
Your rights
You may ask at any time what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to hello@alpio.ch. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Security
All connections are encrypted (HTTPS). We store passwords only as a secure hash. Access to your data is limited to what running the service requires.
Changes
We update this policy when Budget 360 changes. The version published here applies.
